By virtue of his incredible comeback victory at the 2005 Masters, the legend of Tiger Woods continues to grow. Erasing a three-stroke lead by Chris DiMarco on the final day of competition, Woods battled back and won his ninth major championship (and fourth Masters title) by dropping a 15-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole of sudden death. His one-stroke victory over DiMarco capped an exciting, rain-soaked Masters in which Woods trailed DiMarco, the leader, by as many as seven strokes on the first day.
